Perlaksanaan Inisiatif Smart Campus di UMP

Usaha perlaksanaan inisiatif Smart Campus telah digerakkan di UMP dengan hasrat bagi menjadikan kampus UMP sebagai Conducive Sustainable Campus. Hasil penyelidikan dari fakulti FSKKP, FKP, FKEE dan FTEK dalam bidang berkaitan Intelligence, Green and Cloud telah dipilih dan diangkat sebagai inisiatif Smart Campus UMP. Bidang tumpuan perlaksanaan merangkumi Academic Management & Campus Life, Safety and Security, Teaching dan Learning dan University Governance.

Sehingga Mac 2019, sebanyak 17 inisiatif telah diluluskan bagi tujuan perlaksanaan inisiatif Smart Campus yang melibatkan kelulusan peruntukan melebihi RM800,000; inisiatif-inisiatif tersebut boleh diringkas dalam jadual berikut:-

PENGENALAN

UNIT LATIHAN & PENDIDIKAN, BAHAGIAN KEMAHIRAN ICT & MULTIMEDIA

  • Unit Latihan & Pendidikan merupakan sebuah unit dibawah Bahagian Kemahiran ICT & Multimedia, Pusat Teknologi Maklumat & Komunikasi. Antara bidang tugas Unit Latihan & Pendidikan adalah seperti di bawah :-
  • Memastikan sasaran perlaksanaan sekurang-kurangnya 2 latihan ICT sebulan kepada staf UMP dicapai mengikut perancangan di dalam kalendar  latihan tahunan UMP.
  • Memastikan setiap peserta mendapat sijil kehadiran dalam tempoh 1 bulan selepas tarikh latihan berlangsung.
  • Memastikan warga UMP dan orang awam diberikan pendedahan mengenai perkhidmatan dan teknologi ICT melalui perlaksanaan program – program IT sekurang-kurangnya sekali setahun.
  • Memastikan setiap tempahan Bilik Latihan PTMK yang diterima di ambil tindakan dalam tempoh 1 jam bekerja.
  • Memantau kerja-kerja  penyelenggaraan pencegahan kerosakan/ancaman virus terhadap kemudahan komputer di makmal latihan dilaksanakan sekurang-kurangnya 1 kali sebulan.

 • Server and Repair Works Division was established in 2006 to be responsible on all servers and database under the purview of the Centre of Information Technology and Communication

• This division is the base for all university application systems because it fully supports any system developed to ensure operational activities of every department and faculty is well-functioning

 

 

 

 

Website / Portal

• Website and portal service is one of the services provided by Portal Management Division under Information System Section. Every Centre of Responsibility is advised to create a department/ faculty portal to ease the promotion and information sharing

• The content of the portal is prepared by the administrator from each Centre of Responsibility. Each centre must establish a Portal Committee to ensure systematic and well-planned work segregation. This activity indirectly assists members of the committee to be active in updating information that is featured in the portal
